The Samsung Galaxy S4 for AT&T is now receiving the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean software update. The update is being rolled out OTA (over-the-air) and is being rolled out it phases, so it maybe awhile before it is available on your device. The update is around 719MB to download and you will have the JSS15J.1337UCUEMJ9 build number once it is installed.
Along with the enhancements from Android 4.3, the update adds support for the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch and brings the Samsung KNOX security software to your device. KNOX offers a "sandbox" mode which is perfect for those who bring their own device to work. It offers a "secure container" with a browser, calendar, email and contacts list. Pressing on the KNOX icon activates the secure security suite. At the end of the business day, press on the icon again and your personal apps become accessible.
The Android 4.3 update has already started rolling out to Sprint, Verizon and U.S. Cellular customers of the Galaxy S4. Now T-Mobile is the last of the four major carriers in the US to receive the update before KitKat.
