Nokia Lumia 1520 vs. Nokia Lumia 925 vs. Nokia Lumia 625 - Performance Comparison

The newly released Nokia Lumia 1520 comes with a 6 inch full 1080p HD display and a powerful 2.2GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. So how does Nokia's newest flagship compare against the Nokia Lumia 925 and the budget Nokia Lumia 625

The Lumia 925 features a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor with 1GB RAM and low-end Lumia 625 runs on 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 CPU supported with 512MB RAM.

As expected the Lumia 1520 is fastest, followed by Lumia 925, and then the  Lumia 625. However the difference is not as big as you may expect. This could reflect that Windows Phone has been optmized to run smoothly across a wide range of hardware. However it could also mean that Microsoft has not finished optimizing their platform, to take better advantage of the quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor. What do you think?
