Motorola unveils Android 4.4 KitKat update plans

HTC was not the only company to unveil their KitKat update plans. Motorola has also stepped forward to reveal that they will be bringing Android 4.4 KitKat to all versions of the Motorola Moto X, Motorola DROID Maxx, Motorola DROID Ultra and Motorola DROID mini. Unfortunately the company has not revealed what dates the updates are expected to arrive.

The details come from Motorola’s support site which also lists the update status for its other handsets.

The Motorola DROID RAZR HD, DROID RAZR MAXX HD and RAZR M are listed as "future plan coming soon". Unfortunately the Motorola DROID Bionic, DROID RAZR Maxx and Motorola Droid 4  will not be updated past Android 4.1.2.

We will keep you updated on exact update dates of Android 4.4 as soon as Motorola makes them available, so be sure to stay tuned.
