Rdio for Android has been updated to match the new features recently added to Rdio for iOS. This means you can now get recommendations on what music to listen to. These recommendations come from The Echo Nest’s library of music and are based on albums you listen to in addition to stations and playlists enjoyed by others in your area.
You can download the update directly on your device through the Google Play Store or by using the link which follows:
Additionally Rdio for Android now features a new three track display for the Stations Player. This shows you the cover art for the previously played track, the current track and the next one. You can swipe to skip the current tune and move on to the next one. And as usual with these updates, there are bug fixes and performance enhancements as well as an updated interface.
You can download and try Rdio for Android free of charge but it will cost you $9.99 a month for full access to the apps 20 million music catalog.
