Nokia Lumia 1320 officially announced


The Nokia Lumia 1520 wasn't the company's only venture into phablet territory. Meet the Nokia Lumia 1320 a device with a 6 inch display which was also part of today's announcements at Nokia World 2013. The device is meant for those looking for a large screen device at an affordable price.

The device measures in at 164.25 x 85.9 x 9.79 mm and weighs around 220 grams. The 6 inch touch display on the Lumia 1320 has a 720 by 1280 pixel resolution and the IPS-LED panel is supersensitive for input with gloves and includes Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The Lumia 1320 comes with just 8GB of internal storage, but you can expand it by up to an additional 64GB through microSD. There is a 5 megapixel camera on its rear and an additional camera for video calls. You also have 4G LTE connectivity and HSPA+ like the Lumia 1520. It even comes with a generous 3400 mAh battery which should offer some record battery life. The Lumia 1320 is powered by a 1.7GHz dual-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM.

The Nokia Lumia 1320 specs include a 6 inch HD display, 8GB of storage, microSD, 4G LTE connecitivity, a 5MP camera capable of 1080p video capture, a VGA camera for video calls and a 1.7GHz dual-core CPU with 1GB of RAM.

Nokia will even include most of their new apps and imaging software found on the Lumia 1520 with your Lumia 1320. These new software enhancements are also headed to older Lumia devices as the 'Nokia Black' update in early 2014.


The Nokia Lumia 1320 will be available in a choice orange, yellow, black, or white, and is coming first to China and Vietnam early next year, then to other Asian markets, India and European markets. the device has been priced at a very reasonable USD 339 before local taxes and subsidies.
