Verizon confirms upcoming LG G2 availability by tweet


Verizon is the third of the four major carriers in the U.S. to confirm the upcoming availability of the LG G2, following announcements from T-Mobile and Sprint. Verizon tweeted a picture of the device which has its physical buttons on its rear, showing off the carrier branding on its front and rear.

Unfortunately Verizon has not revealed an exact date on which G2 will be available, the did state that it will launch later this year.

The recently announced G2 features a features a 5.2 inch full HD touch display, up to 32GB of internal storage, a 13 megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, a secondary 2 megapixel camera for video calls and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor from Qualcomm with 2GB of RAM.



The high end specs are complemented by a customized version of Android 4.2 Jelly Bean which includes a collection of exclusive LG apps like Guest Mode, Answer Me, Double Tap to Wake and Slide Aside multi-tasking.
