Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition - Video Review

We have already seen a review of the HTC One Google Edition. Now its time to take a look at the other manufacturer flagship which will be in the front line for Nexus like Android software updates - the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition (GE).

The only issue with the Galaxy S4 GE is its un-subsidized $649 price, which isn't something users (especially in the U.S.) are used to spending on their smartphones. However if you are the type or Android user always looking for the newest version of Android, you cant look further than one of these Google Edition devices.

The Galaxy S4 GE shares all the flair of its TouchWiz sibling including the 5 inch Super AMOLED touch display with a 1080 by 1920 pixel resolution, up to 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 13 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary 2 megapixel camera for video calls, 4G LTE connectivity, NFC, and a quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor with 2GB of RAM.

Unfortunately users who have grown to love Samsung's Touchwiz enhancements on the original Galaxy S4 will be greatly disappointed at the lack of enhancements like Smart Pause and Air View which make the Galaxy series unique. Instead you have to learn to love the stock Android 4.2 Jelly Bean experience which will be upgraded to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean very soon.
