We already saw a r
eview of the HTC One, but this time we have a slightly different variant of the device which comes with the latest version of stock version of
Android 4.2 Jelly Bean - The
HTC One Google Edition. Much like its sibling the
HTC One, the Google Edition features a 4.7 inch touch display with an FHD resolution, 32GB of internal storage, a 4 megapixel camera with UltraPixel technology which is capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM.
The device is definitely not for everyone, as HTC fans would miss features like Sense and the Zoe camera experience. Also users who rely on device subsidies maybe put off by the somewhat pricey $600 off contract cost. However if you want the latest version of stock Android served to your device in line with Google's Nexus series, the Google Edition of the HTC One maybe the right device for you.
