Facebook Home for Android has been updated and it is clear to see that the company is listening to user feedback, with folders now available on the app list. However while satisfying their existing users Facebook has fallen back on their initial plans for the service when it was first launched.
You can download the update directly on your compatible device through the Google Play Store or by using the link which follows:
Alongside the Facebook for Android update, the new Facebook Home for Android update added the ability to create folders in the app list. All you have to do is add one app on top of another and a folder is created. Unfortunately thats the only new feature thats arriving on the device.
When Facebook Home was launched back in April the device came with support for the HTC One X, HTC One X+, Samsung Galaxy S III and Samsung Galaxy Note II. The Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC One were not released at that time, but support for the two flagship devices was promised, yet not delivered. At least not officially.
While we would like to see more Android devices, including our Google Nexus 4 add support for Facebook Home, it doesn't looks like its a priority for Facebook at this time.
