HTC One Google Edition is now available for purchase

The HTC One Google Edition and the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition are now available for purchase through the Google Play Store. The Google Edition implies that you won't have HTC's Sense user interface and would instead have stock Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. What this means is that this variant of the HTC One will be in among the first in line for newer versions of Android with the Nexus series instead of having to wait like the regular HTC One users.

Other than that, the device features the same hardware as the regular HTC One including a 4.7 inch touch display with an 1080 by 1920 pixel resolution, up to 32GB of internal storage, a 4 megapixel camera with UltraPixel technology which is capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM.

The Galaxy S4 Google Edition is a fully unlocked GSM device, which means it will only work on GSM carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile and you won't be able to use them Verizon or Sprint. However keep in mind that the HTC One Google Edition doesn't support T-Mobile's 1700MHz AWS bands and only supports the 1900MHz frequencies available in select areas.

Those interested can pre-order the HTC for $599.99 and the handset will be shipped to you on July 9th. You can purchase the device by following the source link below.
