Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition is now available for purchase

The Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition and the HTC One Google Edition are now available for purchase through the Google Play Store. The Google Edition implies that you won't have Samsung's TouchWiz user interface and would instead have stock . What this means is that this variant of the Galaxy S4 will be in among the first in line for newer versions of Android with the Nexus series instead of having to wait like the regular Galaxy S4 users.

Other than that, the device features the same hardware as the regular Samsung Galaxy S4 including the 5 inch Super AMOLED touch display with a 1080 by 1920 pixel resolution, up to 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 13 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary 2 megapixel camera for video calls, 4G LTE connectivity, NFC, and a quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor with 2GB of RAM.

The Galaxy S4 Google Edition is a fully unlocked GSM device, which means it will only work on GSM carriers like AT&T and T-Mobile and you won't be able to use them Verizon or Sprint.

Those interested can pre-order the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition for $649 and the handset will be shipped to you on July 9th. You can purchase the device by following the source link below.
