It looks like the Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition won't be the only new device to join the Nexus lineup on the Google Play Store on June 26th. The HTC One Google Edition has now been officially unveiled and will also make its way as a Google Experience device.
The handset will feature the same hardware as the regular HTC One but will run stock Android with the additional Beats Audio integration. It will cost $599 for a 32GB model, which is $50 less than the 16GB Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Edition.
The HTC One Google Edition will be a GSM unlocked device, which means it will run on AT&T or T-Mobile in the U.S. It won't have the HTC Blink Feed experience but will run the latest version of Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with updates coming directly from Google.
HTC has said that it is "examining the best way to support early adopters of the One" who may want the vanilla Android experience". Could this mean that users who purchase the unlocked HTC One will receive an official ROM from HTC to convert their handsets in Google Edition devices?
