Yesterday Apple announced that the WWDC 2013 will be held between June 10th and June 14th in San Francisco. Those who are interested in attending the event will be happy to know that tickets for the WWDC are now on sale. Despite their high $1599 price tag, the tickets tend to sell like hotcakes, so you would probably want to grab yours as soon as possible.
Those interested need to head to developer.apple.com/wwdc/tickets/ in order to get your hands on the ellusive tickets.
[UPDATE] The WWDC 2013 tickets have sold out in a record breaking under two minutes this year. Last year it took Apple 2 hours to sell out the whole event.
The WWDC 2013 will hopefully be the platform Apple unveils iOS 7 and OS X 10.9. While the newest version of Mac OS will be an incremental update, Apple's mobile OS is expected to have a revamped look. WWDC is meant mainly for developers who will get an opportunity to see partake in hundreds of workshops with over a thousand Apple developers and engineers in attendance. The WWDC 2013 will definitely be a great place for learning and discovering some of the key upcoming changes to software.
The event is also expected to unveil a newer, sleeker iPad 5, an iPad mini with Retina display and the iPhone 5S. There is also expectation of a new cheaper iPhone aimed at emerging markets, but Apple's previous trends make this report seem like nothing more than a rumor.
