The Nokia Lumia 520 is the most affordable in the Windows Phone 8 family. It is now available for purchase in the United States, through online retailer Expansys and costs $224.99 off contract.
This is a reasonable asking price for the handset which features a 4.0 inch touch display, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 5 megapixel camera capable of 720p HD video capture and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor with 512 MB of RAM.
You will also get Nokia exclusive features like HERE Maps with offline navigation and Nokia Music with free Mix radio music streaming and many more.
Since you will be getting an unlocked Lumia 520, you can use it on either AT&T and T-Mobile in the United States. Meanwhile T-Mobile announced that they would be getting the Nokia Lumia 521 which is a variant of the Lumia 520 in May.
