LG Escape for AT&T receives Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software update
The LG Escape for AT&T is now receiving the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software update. The Escape features a 4.3 inch touch display, 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 5 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary camera for video calls, and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM.
Jelly Bean offers several new features and improvements including improved responsiveness through Project Butter, actionable notifications, and the Google Now digital assistant along with the AT&T DriveMode app.
The update will be offered (OTA) over-the-air and users will receive a notification when it is available for their handsets. The update will be rolled out it phases, so it may take a couple of days before it reaches your device. You can manually check for the update availability by heading over to Settings on your device.
