Google has released the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean factory images for the Google Galaxy Nexus for Verizon and the Google Galaxy Nexus for Sprint. This means users who like to mod their smartphones can easily revert back to stock is something goes wrong with the mods you have installed.
The Galaxy Nexus for Verizon factory image was Android 4.2.2 while the Galaxy Nexus for Sprint the Android 4.2.1 software. Sadly the Sprint variant of the Galaxy Nexus is the only member of the Nexus family not to have the latest version of Android.
Additionally the driver binaries have also been available for modders. Driver binaries make it much much easier for users who like installing custom ROMs.
