BlackBerry Z10 for T-Mobile available starting today

The BlackBerry Z10 has been launch on T-Mobile’s network starting today. The BlackBerry Z10 which runs the brand new  OS, features a 4.2 inch touch display with a 768 x 1280 pixel resolution, 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 2GB of RAM.

The launch coincides with the carrier’s 4G LTE network and new UNcarrier plans. You can get the Z10 on a Simple Choice plan for $99 or purchase it off contract for $531.99.

T-Mobile is the second carrier in the U.S. to offer the Z10 following AT&T. Verizon is expected to have the device is stock soon.

Strangely BlackBerry has not been giving the media attention you would expect form the company with the U.S. launch. This is expected to change when Verizon releases the Z10 on its network. It is extremely important for BlackBerry to give its new platform its due attention if it wants to succeed.
