Asus Memo Pad - Video Demo

The Asus Memo Pad was first introduced nearly a month ago at the CES. The device features a 7 inch touch display, up to 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a camera for video calls and is powered by a 1GHz processor with 1GB of RAM.

The device runs  out of the box which results in a lag free smooth performance attributed to Project Butter. You also get the Google Now digital assistant which keeps you up-to-date with the latest information as you request it.

Asus has added some valuable features like BuddyBuzz which allows you to keep an eye on all your social networks you follow. The Sonic Audio Technology with Audio Wizard gives you multimedia capabilities while the My Painter app allows you to bring out the artist in you. SuperNote Lite allows you to type, write, scribble and pretty much allows you to do what you like.

Your Memo Pad will also offer 5GB of cloud storage which allows you to sync your data between your computer, smartphone or tablet. You also have WebStorage Online Office which lets you create, edit and share office files with your friends and colleagues. Floating App allows you to easily multitask between the browser, video, countdown timer, calendar, email and sticky memo.

The Asus MemoPad costs only $149.99 which makes it cheaper than the Google Nexus 7. However if you are on a budget and are looking for a new tablet, the MemoPad maybe a great tablet to start with.
