The Alcatel One Touch Scribe Easy offers an affordable device with a stylus for input, something which Alcatel calls a "perfect canvass for capturing flashes of genius on the move". The device features features a 5.0 inch display with a 480 by 800 pixel resolution, 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 5 megapixel camera, a secondary camera for video calls, and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 512MB of RAM.
The device is available in an array of colors – Red, Blue and Yellow and has a magnetic MagicFlip cover which protects the screen
The One Touch Scribe Easy runs the latest version of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean – Android 4.2.1 and features creative apps designed specially with the stylus in mind. A note app for sketching which also features handwriting recognition and a movie maker app are some of them.
Alcatel hasn't revealed the pricing or the dates of availability for this device, but its an obvious choice for someone looking for a device like the Samsung Galaxy Note II at a more affordable price point.
