Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 in the US receives the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean software update
Previously we reported that Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 users in Germany were receiving the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software update. Now it looks like the American variants of the of the device are also receiving the update over-the-air and through the Samsung Kies software.
The update is around 487MB and will bring Android 4.1.2 on your device. That means you will have access to the performance improvements from Project Butter and Google Now. There is now news on the Samsung specific enhancements the device users will be receiving, but the update is also expected to fix the Exynos 4210 or 4412 processor vulnerability
Currently the update is only available to the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Wi-Fi, but we expect that the cellular variants will be receiving the update soon as they are cleared by various carriers.
