Previously Facebook Messenger for Android received a software update which brought free calls to friends and voice messages among other features. The voice messages feature has now been included in the latest update for Facebook for Android. Unfortunately the voice calling feature has not been included in the update.

The update has also made it faster to open and view photos. It also makes it much easier to re-share your friend’s stories to timelines, pages and groups. It was previously only possible to share stories to your own timeline and not to other timelines, pages or groups.
