Nokia Lumia 505 gets teased ahead of launch in Mexico

The Mexican Carrier Guerrero Móvil has teased the upcoming Nokia Lumia 505 which will exclusive (at least initially) to its network. The Lumia 505 would be the cheapest Nokia Windows Phone device to date when it is launched. The device features a 4.0 inch WVGA touch display, 4GB of internal storage, an 8 megapixel camera with no flash and is powered by an 800 MHz processor with 256MB of RAM.

Not much else is known about the device yet other than the basic specifications. However the carrier promises to reveal more information about the Lumia 505 in a week.

It is not common for Nokia to invest too much effort in a design of a smartphone that would be exclusive to a Mexican carrier and it is expected that the Lumia 505 will be a redesigned version of the Nokia Lumia 510.

What do you think of Nokia’s approach to a wider audience with Windows Phone? Do you think the devices have what they need to win some market share from Android? Share your thoughts below.
