The Amazon App Store for Android has been updated with several new improvements and bug fixes
The Amazon App Store for Android has been updated and brings several new improvements and bug fixes. The Amazon App Store is an alternate marketplace to the Google Play Store for Android apps. Along with providing apps for the Kindle Fire tablets, it is also installed on several Android devices around the world. Its most appealing feature is probably the ‘Free App of the Day’ which allows you to download a new app for free every day.
However users who got access to Android 4.2 Jelly Bean have faced several issues with the Amazon App Store which has now been fixed with this new update, which can be downloaded using the following link:
Issues included users having their accounts getting logged off, forcing them to log-in again. Users also had their device assigned as a new device each time they logged into the app, which would eventually result in users reaching the maximum number of allowed devices for their account.
The update fixes all these issues along with other bugs including a battery draining bug. Amazon has also introduced the option of removing apps from the My Apps screen by using the long press on the title you want to remove. Amazon has also introduced some minor UI enhancements with the update.
