Nokia recently released the Nokia Lumia 920 which replaces the Nokia Lumia 900 as the company's newest flagship. The Lumia 920 is a great upgrade in all aspects, but what's most impressive is its PureView camera technology. The PureView camera on the Lumia 920 has an 8.7 MP sensor, which may not be as impressive as the much larger 41 MP camera on the Nokia 808 PureView but features a new technology called optical image stabilization (OIS).
The OIS technology results in amazing low light photos with reduced shakiness which can be attributed to the device's camera being suspended by springs. This keeps the camera stable even when you hands may not be steady. It also allows the lens to be open for a longer period of time allowing in more light for very natural photos.
Check out the following samples comparing the Lumia 920 with its predecessor the Lumia 900.

The Lumia 920 has an 8.7 megapixel camera with a 26mm with an f2.0 aperture. Along with OIS it also features back illumination and custom Nokia processing algorithms which help reduce noise in your photos.
As you can see the Lumia 920 is a clear winner in night time photos though the Lumia 900 does a good job with regular pictures. If you are someone who likes to take low light photos regularly, the Lumia 920 may just be the right phone for you.
