Nokia Lumia 822 and HTC 8X for Verizon are now available in stores



The Nokia Lumia 822 and the HTC Windows Phone 8X for Verizon are now available for purchase through the carrier's retail stores. Users who have been waiting for a chance to get their hands on Windows Phone 8 devices on the Verizon network can now get a taste of what Microsoft’s newest mobile operating system has to offer.

The Nokia Lumia 822 features features a 4.3 inch WVGA AMOLED touch display, an 8 megapixel camera, 16 GB of storage which can be expanded through microSD, a secondary camera for video calls, and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM. The device costs $99.99 with a two-year contract and is available in black or white.



You can also get the device for $49.99 if you head over to a Best Buy retail store near you. However keep in mind that this reduced price is not available on the Best Buy website, which matches Verizon’s offer.

Meanwhile the HTC 8X features a 4.3 inch Super LCD 2 touch display with a 342 ppi pixel density, 16GB of internal storage, an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary HD camera, NFC, 4G LTE connectivity for video calls and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor.



The black version is now available for $199.99 with a two-year contract. A blue version will be available for shipping on November 19th  and a red one will be made available by November 27th.
