If you haven't received the update, you could consider manually updating your device, but keep in mind that the update may fail if your devices doesn’t meet certain requirements.
[NOTE] If you haven't rooted your device with ClockworkMod Recovery running, you will have to manually push the update using ADB from the Android SDK.
[NOTE] You cannot have any leaked Android 4.2 apps installed on your device. If you have flashed the new keyboard, camera or GMail apps you will have to restore your stock Android 4.1.2 build JZO54K before you can proceed with the guide

- Download the JOP40C update file.
- - Download and install the Android SDK, if you don’t have it already.
- - Reboot your Nexus 7 and press both the Volume Up + Volume Down buttons while the device boots up.
- - When you see the fastboot menu, press Volume Up until you see ‘Recovery’ and press the ‘Power’ button.
- - When the device switches to Recovery mode, you will see an Android with a red exclamation icon.
- - Now press ‘Volume Up’ and the ‘Power’ buttons together, which will bring the Recovery menu.
- - Select ‘Apply update from adb’.
- - Connect your device to your computer using the USB cable.
- - Open command prompt (cmd in Windows, or terminal in Linux and Mac) and navigate to the directory where you downloaded the JOP40C update file.
- - Type the following: adb sideload 094f6629314a.signed-nakasi-JOP40C-from-JZO54K.094f6629.zip
- - You will now see a progress bar, which will reach 100% once the update has been installed on your device.
- - Reboot your device, and you should now have Android 4.2 installed on your device.
