Apple iTunes 11 released for Windows and Mac OS

Apple has released iTunes 11 for Windows and Mac OS. The update to the media management software was first expected alongside the release of the Apple iPhone 5 but has finally been made available for download after several months of delays. The newest version seems much lighter than ever before giving us a new look into the App Stores and our media.

You can download iTunes for Mac OS directly on your device by opening Software Update by clicking the Apple icon. If you own a Windows PC, you can run Apple Software Update from your Start Screen (menu) or by using the following link.

Apple first announced iTunes 11 during  a media event for the iPhone 5 and have been working it ever since. The outcome manages to offer the huge selection of content form Apple’s stores in an easy to use, simple interface similar to what its offered on iOS 6

One of the first features you will notice in iTunes 11 is the improved integration with iCloud. It also has a new mini-player with quick access to music controls.

Apple seems to have taken a lot of inspiration for iTunes 11 form the iPad ? What do you think of the latest update ?
