Nokia Lumia 920T headed to China Mobile’s proprietary network

China Mobile is the world’s largest mobile operator with over 1 billion mobile subscribers. However due to its proprietary T-SCDMA network it doesn’t always get access to the latest devices like the Apple iPhone 5. Nokia plans to change this by bringing their a variant of their upcoming flagship, the Nokia Lumia 920 to the China Mobile network.

The device which will be called Nokia Lumia 920T and carries the CMCC branding indicating its destination to China Mobile. While the carrier also has an LTE network, there is no news of the Lumia 920T will support 4G speeds.

The Lumia 920 will offer some great features including its super sensitive touch display and wireless charging. The device will also likely be treated to PureView phase 2 which will allow amazing low light photos. Check out some photos features the Lumia 920T below.

With Nokia’s current status in the mobile market, they will gain immensely if their Windows Phone 8 flagship becomes a hit in China.
