The Nokia Lumia 920 has been available on pre-order in Italy since September, and the device has been doing extremely well even before its launch as all the devices up for pre-order have already sold out.
Reserving the upcoming Nokia flagship was priced at EUR 100, but that hasn’t stopped eager users from reserving the device leaking the Nokia Italy website with the message reading “Reservations sold out”.
This is great news for Nokia which continues to struggle to win back a position it lost to the iPhone and Android devices which have since risen to dominance. Nokia is even reported to reading a variant of their flagship for China Mobile to help them build a strong user base for their Lumia devices. The road ahead will not be an easy one, and Nokia will have to aggressively market the Windows Phone platform alongside Microsoft in order to stay relevant in the months ahead.
