Microsoft is expected to officially introduced Windows Phone 8 on October 29. With just a week left Best Buy and AT&T have announced the prices for the Nokia Lumia 920 and the HTC Windows Phone 8X. The Lumia 920 will cost $149.99 on a two year contract, while the HTC 8X will cost $99.99 on the same contract. Both phones can be purchased for $599.99 without a contract.
The Lumia 920 features a features a 4.5 inch HD touch display, up to 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8 megapixel PureView camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. The device is available in white, black, red, yellow and cyan.
The HTC 8X features a 4.3 inch touch display, 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary HD camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor. The device is available in purple.
Best Buy has not specified the dates that these devices will be shipped, simply stating that they will ship when available. The mid range Nokia Lumia 820 and HTC Windows Phone 8S from both manufacturers are still to be priced and will hopefully be available soon.
