Nokia 808 PureView receives Nokia Belle FP2 software update again


The Nokia Belle FP2 software update leaked accidently for some 808 PureView users last month giving some users early access to the new features which will be available on their devices. Now the update has started to roll out officially and it will be available for the Nokia 808 PureView, Nokia 603, Nokia 700 and the Nokia 701.

While the features will be consistent between the devices, some of the imaging and gallery features will remain exclusive to Nokia's flagship camera phone.

Following is the official change log for Nokia 808 PureView's camera and gallery features:
  • djsmob_gallery_02More information about your images, such as image resolution, ISO value, white balance setting, and file size, and the location. When you are connected online, one click will show you on Nokia Maps where the photo was taken.
  • New reset button in Creative mode to change all the settings back to default with a single touch
  • Gallery Grid view when you have the phone in landscape
  • Select and delete multiple photos in Gallery Grid
  • Access to more functions when you open your images from the Gallery widget on your home screen – swipe through other images, zoom, share, edit, and send images faster.
  • Video Pro video editing app

The rest of the features will be shared between the devices:
  • Update browser (version 8.3)
  • Improved HTML5 support.
  • New and significantly faster keyboard
  • Nokia Car Mode.
While the update is rolling out worldwide, it may be delayed to reach specific carriers or countries. You can check for the update availability.
