Huawei W1 reveals an affordable Windows Phone 8 device

The final press photos of the Huawei W1 has leaked, showing a colorful and pleasant looking Windows Phone 8 device. It follows the inspiration led by Nokia and HTC by featuring colors from Windows Phone’s Live Tiles. While the leaked photos shows the blue variant of the device, it is reported that it will also appear in black, white and pink.

With the W1, Huawei aims to offer an affordable Windows Phone 8 device which wont compromise the smooth Windows Phone experience.

To achieve this the W1 features a 4 inch touch display, 4GB of storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 5 megapixel camera, a secondary camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 512MB of RAM.

The device is set to be released in China around November or December and will be priced at a very affordable $310. There is no date indicating when the device will make its way around the world, but it shouldn't take too long considering Huawei's  popularity in the recent years.
