The Facebook for Android app has been updated to version 1.9.11. This maintenance update promises to improve the speed of tagging photos and organizing albums. It also fixes an issue with prevented users from uploading photos in certain language versions of the app. Additionally you can now choose an album when you upload a photo.

While Facebook for iOS offers a native experience on both the iPhone and the iPad, Android users are still left with a slow and laggy version which sometimes ends up crashing. This is especially frustrating for Android tablet users, who have to use the stretched phone version of the app.
Its good to see Facebook is working on improving the Android version and we hope to see a native version available for Android soon.
