Nokia Belle FP1 vs. Belle FP2 on the Nokia 808 Pureview



As the flagship Symbian device, the Nokia 808 PureView is the first to be treated to the latest software updates. While the Nokia Belle FP2 update has still not been officially released, some users got early access to the update as a result of an accidental release.

The following video shows a side by side comparison of the 808 Pureview running Belle FP1 and FP2, giving you an idea of some of the features you can expect in the latest update.

Following are a list of improvements and enhancements (changelog) in the Nokia Belle Feature Pack 2 (FP2) update for the Nokia 808 PureView as described in the videos.
  1. Information displayed in the lock-screen
  2. The home-screen toolbar now supports four icons instead of three.
  3. New widgets available for the home-screen.
  4. Enhanced menus are now larger easier to reach the hand.
  5. You can now select multiple photos in Gallery and there is now support for landscape mode.
  6. Detailed photo information is now available in the gallery
  7. You can now reset your camera interface to default options.
  8. A new music player app which features an updated interface, tabs and supports the swipe gesture.
  9. Essential keyboard shortcuts are provided are provided in the status bar based on the opened application.
  10. An improved QWERTY keyboard with better predictive text.
  11. You now have a save and cancel options in the Notes apps.
  12. Renewable radio buttons.
  13. Nokia music
  14. Updated Nokia web browser (8.3.2) for enhanced usability.
  15. You can now install a website as an application for quick access
  16. A quick send button for Messaging…
