Kindle Fire HD receives (7.1.5) software update



The 7 inch Amazon Kindle Fire HD has just been made available for shipping to customers, and it seams like it already has a software update. The minor update claims to optimize the performance and functionality of the new device, which could mean Amazon is being extremely diligent with software updates or they had a major bug which needed immediate eradication.

The new software carriers version 7.1.5 and you can download the update here. You will have to apply the update to your Kindle Fire by connecting it to your computer. You can find more instructions on installing the update here.
