Nokia Windows Phone 8 devices coming to AT&T and Verizon

Nokia is expected to unveil their lineup of Windows Phone 8 devices on September 5. There have been many rumors of Nokia Lumia handsets in the works, but we don’t have many details on the upcoming handsets.

A recent report suggests that three Nokia Lumia devices will be unveiled during the event and that they will be the Nokia Phi, Nokia Arrow and the Nokia Atlas.

The Nokia Phi is expected to feature a 4.7 inch display and a design similar to the Nokia Lumia 900, and would probably take over as Nokia’s new flagship when it is released. The device which is rumored to head to AT&T will feature NFC, LTE connectivity and a microSD card slot.

Another device heading over to AT&T is the Nokia Arrow. Not much is known about this device other than that it will be a mid range device. The Arrow will also likely be available through T-Mobile, while the Phi may remain exclusive to AT&T.

The Nokia Atlas is reported to be heading over to Verizon and would resemble the Nokia Arrow. The Arrow may not make it to the first lineup of devices and could be announced at a later date.

Even though the handsets will be announced in September, we should expect them to go on sale until October. It is important for Nokia to have their devices in the market before the new iPhone.
