The LG Prada 3.0 was launched back in February with Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board, and now users of this device in Germany and Italy are receiving the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) update on their handsets. It seems like the announcement of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean has triggered several manufacturers to hurry up with their ICS updates.
The update is unfortunately not being offered OTA (Over the Air) and users will have to connect their handsets to their computers with the LG Mobile Phone Support tool. Since there is no connectivity tool for Mac OS users they too will have to update their device on a Windows PC.
LG recommends that all users backup their devices before performing the update, but the data will remain intact during the update process. You can get more information on how to update your LG Prada 3.0 to Android Ice Cream Sandwich by following the source link.
