Apple has officially announced that its annual Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) 2013 will take place between the 10th and 14th of June this year. The WWDC is commonly known for Apple's major announcements and reports and rumors expect a new range of iOS devices, Macs and even an iWatch.Over a 100 technical sessions are expected to take place during the course of the week, presented by over 1000 Apple engineers for both iOS and OS X and developers to take advantage of this time to get an in-depth insight on Apple's mobile and desktop platforms and technologies.
Developers who are interested in attending the event can purchase tickets on Thursday April 25 at 10 a.m. PDT. It is important that you get the tickets as quickly as possible, as the generally sell out in hours once they are on sale. The tickets generally cost around $1599 which doesn't include travel and accommodation.

The event is expected to unveil iOS 7.0 and Mac OS X 10.9 which signify a new era for both platforms under new management. Apple is also expected to unveil the Apple iPad 5, Apple iPhone 5S and possibly a MacBook Air with Retina Display.
There is also expectations of a new cheaper iPhone aimed at emerging markets. Apple has been satisfied with offering their older models at cheaper prices until this point and it will be interesting to see if this rumor comes to life at the upcoming WWDC.
