The Google Galaxy Nexus will be receiving Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on Wednesday and Thursday. The update will be available for the international model and the HSPA+ model available on Google Play. Verizon users will unfortunately have to wait.
The software version after the update will be JRO03C which is the same build on the free Galaxy Nexus handsets received by the Google I/O 2012 attendees.
The Android 4.1.1 update will bring several performance improvements and Google Wallet but will remove compatibility with the Adobe Flash Player, which is something everyone who is planning to update should keep in mind. The Google Galaxy Nexus (CDMA/LTE) along with the Google Nexus S and the Motorola Xoom will be next in line for the update according to Google.
