Asus Transformer Pad TF300 pricing and launch date officially announced


The was previously rumored to arrive on April 22nd. Asus has now officially announced that the Android 4.0.3 running tablet will arrive online on April 23rd and then make its way to retail stores on April 30th.

The tablet will initially be available in Royal Blue, and colors like Iceberg White and Torch Red will be offering sometime in June.

The Transformer Pad TF300 will cost $379 for the 16GB variant and $399 for the 32GB model, which is quite reasonable considering it’s cheaper than the iPad 2. You can purchase the optional keyboard dock for an additional $149.

The Asus Transformer Pad TF300 which is the cheaper cousin of the features a 10.1 inch touch-screen display, 8 megapixel camera, 16GB storage and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor.

The tablet has replaced the aluminum body on the Prime with a bulkier plastic frame to allow the cheaper pricing.
