Firefox 11 is now available to download

Firefox 11 is now available for download as Mozilla continues their rapid release cycle of their web browser. The new version doesn't offer too much in terms of features but has some useful improvements and bug fixes.

Mozilla released Firefox 10 in January and Firefox 9 sometime last December.

The most notable new feature is the ability to migrate bookmarks, browsing history and stored cookies form Google Chrome. Another great feature is that your add-ons are now syncs ensuring you have a fluid experience on all your computers. Mozilla has also introduced a CSS style editor and the ability to visualize a webpage in 3D. Other updates include redesigned HTML5 video controls and a fix for the Growl notifications.

You can download Firefox 11 for Windows, Mac OS and Linux using the links which follow:
This release also brings us a step closer to the Windows 8 Metro inspired version of Firefox which is expected to begin with version 14 of the browser. At the current rate of development we can expect Firefox to have Windows 8 support within four months at least.
