Samsung Galaxy Note receives software update

The Samsung Galaxy Note has received a Software Update which will offer users the opportunity for single hand input on the huge display. The update aligns the keyboard to either the right or left side of your screen making it reachable to your hand when you want to use a single hand to input data. The update also brings some minor performance improvements and updates to the TouchWiz UI, Web Browser, Calendar and Torch apps.

The Android version remains on Android 2.3.6 and the download is 70MB in size.

The Galaxy Note features a 5.3 inch display which places it between being a tablet and a smartphone. It also features an 8MP camera capable of full 1080p HD video recording, up to 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded with microSD and is powered by a dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM.

This may just be a small step as we await the release of Ice Cream Sandwich to the Galaxy Note, but the update is still a welcome one.
