The Twitter application has been updated for the iOS platform. The new version 4.0 brings an updated user interface which is made up of a four-tab system aimed at bringing "
you instantly closer to everything you care about." The four tabs are made up of Home, Connect, Discover and Me.
These changes which are currently only available on the iPhone and iPod Touch will eventually make it's way to the iPad and the Twitter website. You can get a feel of how it's going to be by downloading Twitter to your device from the Apple App Store or by using the link which follows:

Home shows all the tweets, while Connect shows who you follow, mentions, retweets or your favourites. Discover allows you to view the latest trends and hashtags and Me allows you to manage your profile.
You even have a dedicated tweet button, which will appear on the top which can be accessed from anywhere within the application.
