With iOS 5 Apple users got 5 GB of free cloud storage through
iCloud and Windows Phone users get access to 25GB of free cloud storage on
SkyDrive. While Android is build with cloud integration they don't have a large amount of cloud storage space.
HTC users will get a chance to take advantage of a deal with Dropbox to offer
5GB of free space and now Sony Ericsson has partnered with Box.net to bring Xperia users 50GB of free cloud storage space and thus topping their competitors.
To activate the offer download the
Box.net application from the Android Market, and login on your handset and create a new account before the end of the year.
The Sony Ericsson site points towards the offer being available until 2012, but this could be a mistake as a similar offer available to iOS users is only available until December 2 this year.
