The Nokia N9 is the first device from the company to be powered by Meego and features a full swipe only touch UI. Nokia has revealed that it will be getting it's first update during the forth quarter for 2011.
The update will bring usability improvements, live music control keys from the lock screen, closing apps by swiping down by default and NFC tag reading.
The N9 features a 3.9 inch display with an 8MP camera and is powered by a 1 GHz processor. Its touch only UI utilizes swipes and gestures to navigate through the entire OS which has been simply divided into three categories - all apps, running apps and messaging. The 8MP camera on the device is one of the best cameras to date from Nokia.
A white version of the N9 was introduced by Nokia today. It features a glossy finish unlike the matte design on the other device, and it will be the first N9 to feature 64GB of internal storage.
