Microsoft is planning to host an event on November 7, in New York to introduce the latest series of Windows Phone devices. The devices which will be presented are the HTC Titan, Samsung Flash Focus and Samsung Focus S and all three will be available in the U.S. through AT&T.
Release dates have not been revealed for these devices but we should know more after the 7th.
All three devices run Windows Phone 7.5 but slightly differ in the hardware departments. The Flash Focus features the smallest display at 3.7-inches, The Focus S has a 4.3-inch display and the HTC Hitan sports a much larger 4.7-inch screen. All three devices have the same resolution of 480x800. All three devices have a single core processor with the two devices from Samsung clocked at 1.4GHz while the Titan runs at 1.5GHz. The three devices record video at 720p but the Focus Flash has a 5MP camera, while the other two sport 8MP sensors.
Last year Microsoft introduced the Samsung Focus, HTC Surround and LG Quantum through AT&T and the HTC HD7 through T-Mobile. While there are fewer devices available this year around, the upcoming devices from Nokia are set to be the difference makers for the Windows Phone platform.
The reference in the invite to "That's not the only big thing Windows Phone has planned" promises something else up Microsoft's sleeve. I guess we will have to wait and see, until then stay tuned.
