Google Nexus S introduced


Meet the Google Nexus S : The second device to come backed directly by Google and host the Nexus name. The Nexus S comes pre-installed with the latest version of Google Android - Gingerbread. It is powered by a 1GHz Hummingbird processor and has 16GB of internal memory.

The device has a generous 4-inch  Super AMOLED Contour Display which boasts its Samsung roots. The Contour Display ensures that the touchscreen sits comfortably against the contours of your face when you are taking a call.

The 5MP camera available on the device allows HD video capturing at 720p and a front facing camera is available for video conferencing.

Its connectivity options go in line with it's rich features. The Nexus S has Quad band GSM support, Tri band HSPA support, Wi-Fi, bluetooth, Near Field Communication (NFC) and Assisted GPS (A-GPS).

The Nexus S promises more than 6 hours of talk time on 3G and a standby of over 17 days thanks to it's 1500mAH battery.
