Nokia C3-01 officially announced

The Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type was announced at the Nokia World 2010 event. This device is the second S40 device from Nokia to feature a touch screen. It features a stainless steal body and has a 5MP camera along with 3G and WiFi connectivity.

The Nokia C3-01 Touch and Type joins the Nokia E7, Nokia C7 and Nokia C6-01 devices announced at Nokia World 2010. While the device shares the look of the Nokia 6700 Classic, in terms of features the 2.4" touch screen makes it closer to the musically inclined Nokia X3-02 Touch and Type which was the first S40 to feature a touch screen.

In terms of connectivity this device has quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity including 3G and HSPA. the C3-01 internal memory can be expanded via microSD card upto 32GB.

The device measures at 111x47.5x11mm and will cost 145 euros (190 USD) before taxes and subsides. and will be available in the fourth quarter of this year.
