HTC has released some top of the line handsets to date. To add to the lineup of devices they announced the HTC Desire HD and the HTC Desire Z at an event that was held today in London.
Both of these smart phones feature some top of the line hardware and run Android 2.2 Froyo.
HTC also announced a service called HTCSense.com. This service is a cloud based and allows HTC devices to save their settings and information online and to restore it back to your devices over the air (OTA). This service allows you full control of your device at all time. You can even remotely wipe your device using a browser much like you can do with Apple's MobileMe service.
Additionally HTC has also introduced a feature where your device can be located on a map or ring even if the device battery is dead or the device is set to silent. No more lost phones people. It would be great if these features are made available on current generation HTC phones, if not we will just have to wait for the release of the HTC Desire HD and the HTC Desire Z which will be the first two phones to feature this service.
The icing on this cake is that all these features will be available for free for all compatible HTC devices. Something for Apple users to think about when they pay their $99 for their MobileMe service.
