The Nokia N8 is an upcoming device from Nokia set to take on the role of the company’s camera flagship. Its the first device from the company to feature a 12 megapixel camera and to be built on the new Symbian^3 operating system. 
Nokia has just started a ‘Make an app‘ competition. What you basically have to do is submit ideas for applications under four categories (Think Green, Fun & Games, Easier Living, Better World) and also be sure to vote on the ideas you like.
Nokia will select 10 ideas each week based on the number of votes. A panel of guest judges will choose 3 ideas from each category at the end of two months. Thus the top 12 submitters ( 3 from each category of four) will be selected to win a trip to Nokia World where there apps will be developed within 24 hours by Nokia’s development team. The winners will also receive a brand new N8 device. Their apps will also be professionally developed and featured on the Ovi Store.
So go over to the Make an App page and read the rules and submit your apps. I too am going to be busy submitting my ideas in the hopes of getting a chance that my app gets voted for. Do look out for me when you vote
